If you could add 3 things into b2, what would it be? Mine would be:

1. Multiple categories
2. Better archiving
3. Comments/trackbacks/pingbacks on one page.

And I want to revise my above number 3 to show comments, trackbacks, and pingbacks arranged with each other chronologically, as each is a type of comment, in the broader sense.

1. Add new fields (Global or Category specific)

I know there is a hack for it but it didn't really work for me and I ended up hacking the hell of b2 with a friend and added my own, but I'd like this option. For example, I have a Ratings/Reviews cat and I had "Stars" from 0->5 in a dropdown for just that category...

Not really a fool prove method, if the user can find out ur post id, he still can post comments.

And i dun want every post to have thier comments disabled. Only selected ones.

Hi guys,

Most of the requests I have just read on this thread make total sense to me!

The good news is that I have already implemented quite a few of them! Very Happy

Especially:

- Multiple categories (and actually multiple blogs too )
- Comments/trackbacks/pingbacks on one page. (planing to mix them in chronological order too)
- Trackback on edit

And right now I am working on:
-Better archiving
-(Advanced) caching (hoping to eventually make it slashdot proof )

but I think this could easly be done if there was a way to view each catagory seperatly the same way b2.php is set up

Sub-categories and user levels that mean something other than post or no post.
