I downloaded and installed the latest version of b2 (0.6.1). I tried to add the XML feed to this newsreader, and the file doesn't exist. It turns out it should be http://bryan.btvillarin.com/b2rss.php instead of http://bryan.btvillarin.com/b2rss.xml like the page originally says by default.

Can this be fixed in the next release? (And, where do I fix this for now?)

Thanks!

Hi,

A little history. At one time b2 was creating a file called ' b2rss.xml' whenever a post was done. This had some issues with it, so a change in direction was done to just create the xml in real time when needed. Thus the file b2rss.php.

What I don't follow is your question of "where to change it". I don't understand.

Look at my homepage here. The XML link goes to b2rss.xml, instead of the better b2rss.php.

Again, I just wanted to know if the b2 developers knew that by default, that XML button links to the .xml file that doesn't exist anymore, not the .php file it should.

I changed it in my template though, so that part I know.

Thanks...

Hi,

So your question was "did the developers know". The answer to that question is yes and and have been corrected in CVS.

CVS: Concurrent Versions System

A tool to manage source control with multiple (or single) users simultaneously without stepping on each others toes. Very Happy

Google will be your friend.
