It looks like the CVS hasn't been updated since november... the latest release doesn't contain the bug fix posted on cafelog.com... and as far as I can tell, the admin hasn't posted in here since November either.

Anyone have any idea? I'm using it for my blog and 2 others, it's working well for me, but if it's not going to be updated again it would be nice to know....

I modified b2 to support Smarty a couple of weeks ago, and I'll maintain it for a while. There's been very little interest in it so far, but it's *much* easier to create templates and use than before.
It's running http://blogs.linux.ie/ and source code is available at http://cork.linux.ie/staticpages/index.php/20030302160019481 although a new version will be released in the next few days hopefully.

Judging by the amount of traffic here, I'd say the project is far from abandoned.

I would really like to see sourceforge being used more activly. For example, you can post patches/hacks/mods to sourceforge, and they are tracked there for all to see, and inclusion into b2. Also the b2 homepage could have links to the sourceforge bugs page etc.
