I would like to have list_cats() have an added sort option of "length" in addition to "name" and "ID" -- this way the list can be more visually appealing. For example, if you look on the side of slashdot.org, you can see that the links on the left hand side are listed with the longest names in the middle of the list and shortest words at the top and bottom. With an added length option you will also need to have added sorting order parameters in addition to "asc" and "desc" -- for example, you can have something like "top-heavy" , "bottom-heavy", "middle-heavy", "middle-light". I hope I made this request understandable. If I have time I will do the hack myself and submit it to you.
