There is just one more thing I would like to see in any future forks or derivations or even continuations of this application: a way of keeping login sessions without requiring that permanent cookies be enabled.
I have used *cough* Nucleus *cough* and some others which manage just fine without permanent cookies, and I have found that even having to enable cookies is one hurdle too many for some folks... especially if they are using a shared computer. So if this little foible could be fixed while all the other improvements are being made, it would definitely be appreciated and would help the app(s) to have more widespread use.
So, is there a setting I can change in the current app that would make permanent cookies unnecessary, or is that somehow integral to the current state of the code? Thanks for your help or suggestions on this! |

b2evolution 0.8.2 now has a setting in the config to turn off permanent cookies.
This way you'll be able to login with session cookies only.
b2evo 0.8.2 also has an improved cookie management system that fixes other related cookie issues such as not being able to login on some browsers while it works on others
