Too advanced? It's no more difficult to use than b2 - infact, the installation is much easier, as are the modified configuration files.

i mean, i got it installed perfectly. i'm just so.. new to php and all i dont know what i would do with the template file being theres so much... in there than the regular b2 template file.

If you have an existing b2 template, you can convert it to a b2evo template in about five minutes (there are step by step instructions), or you can make your own evoskin in 15. I'd hardly call that advanced...
