I think my question is summed up in the subject. For the uninitiated, the Echo Project is a new effort "to develop a common syntax for syndication, archiving and an editing API". It's already got the support of people behind Blogger, Movable Type, LiveJournal, as well as prominent folks like Dave Winer and Lawrence Lessig. So, will b2 support Echo?
