i've seen a few blogs that have a link titled "permalink" for each blog entry so people who may refer to a specific entry in their own blog can use that to link directly to it... is there a feature in B2 for this?? most people who link to a specific blog entry of mine refer to the date stamp bookmark...

Yes. B2 have it, in fact, a FEW functions for permalink!
