Just use the following .htaccess - file
Code:
Order allow,deny

Allow from all
Deny from [bad boys ip adress or range, eg 11.22.33]
Deny from [another ip adress or range]

This worked fo me

Drop it in the b2 folder ..
Remember after you drop it in the folder you won't see it as most htaccess files will not show in your ftp program .

If you still can't get in ask your host to delete that htaccess file so you can get back in .
