There may be something like this in existance already. I'm currently using a password protection hack... to be honest, I don't like it's implementation. I was wondering if it was possible to modify B2 to add in a Min user level, so that users below that level cannot read it (0 being anyone, including public can read, 10 being only admin can read, and anywhere inbetween) This would require a hack to both the index.php and to the editing sections (both to hide the message in the post area and to add in the user level for the actual message) I would prefer that no user can see any trace of the message if they do not have a high enough user level.
Can anyone help me here? |

it is one of the things i am curretnyl working on, next to the possibility to select specific (registered) users from a list who are allowed to read a post.
i.e. you could select your partner to be able to read something about last night, and others wouldn't be able to
i'll let you know when it's sorta finished |
