I really appreciate the person who made this program and all. Thank you very much. However, it's useless to me if I cannot solve this problem.

My b2 blog page is within an iFrame on my main interface.
The navigation on my interface is done in flashMX.
The blog page is what loads into the iFrame first (the initial page).
When I click on the other links to the pages, they simply DO NOT WORK. They do not go into the iFrame like they are supposed to
They do not open at all.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, I'm CLUELESS!
Thanks.

No URL? Could it be something wrong w/ your navigation?

I don't know much flash, so I'll try to help as much as I can.

there are definitely URL's on my flash buttons.
I recently added this news page- it has something to do with the blog page- not sure what though.

the reason I know: I had different pages in my iFrame before with the same flash navigation- nothing has changed.

I just don't get it. It has something to do with the blog files, because I couldn't sign in to the service when it was linked through a regular frame, either.

okay. The BROKEN example is at http://forthetaking.com/brokenB2/interface.htm

the working example (with the exact same navigational system) which does not use b2, is located at http://forthetaking.com/interface/

I truly hope there's a solution- i've been modifying this/working on this for hours.

I get a 404 on /interface/.

The /brokenb2/ site shows me the pages of "Contact, Bio, Photos, Merch", basically, it's working fine for me. All the links (that I checked) lead into the iframe, and seem to be working fine in my Mozilla Firebird browser and my Internet Explorer browser (both latest versions).

i'm sorry, it's not "/interface/", it's "interface.htm"
ignore the index page
so that means the link is http://forthetaking.com/brokenB2/interface.htm

but this still means I won't be able to do that when i'm editing it on my computer... bah humbug... how may i fix this?

Forgive my ignorance, but what are you trying to edit on your computer? The site itself?

Are you not able to get the pages loaded into the iframe whle it was offline?

you are correct. I do all my editing on my computer. the files are on my computer.
for some reason, the pages load fine when online, but not when i'm using the files from my computer (offline).

it's so wierd.

Want to know something even more wierd?
I put a textual link on the interface page (before all of the graphics, etc.) linked to a page that should display in the iFrame- and when I clicked on it, it showed up! what the heck? then I used the flash menu and the other links worked, but when i went BACK to the b2 page, the flash menu did not work after that.

I'm so curious. It's like a combination of both. I do not know... but it worked online... I don't get it. ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

Hmmm, definitely weird, because I saved your flash navigation on my computer, and loaded it in IE and when I clicked a link it was looking for "news.htm" (or the like) on my computer. So the flash definitely works.

I also saved your whole website, and loaded it up in IE, and that worked as well (as far as loading in the iframe goes).

What browser & editor are you using to edit/view your pages?

keep in mind that i have not yet changed my flash navigation's link named "NEWS" to link to the new B2 site... it goes to a different page (not sure if that threw you off or not).

Um... I use notepad to edit my code, and IE 6 to view my page.

About the flash, it works (on my end, offline), there's no question about that. Even just viewing the flash itself, and clicking a link, it looks for whatever link I clicked on.

So if you preview your site right now, offline, when clicking on the flash nav, nothing happens?
