I'm ok until I get to the step where I have to open up ' b2-include/b2menutop.php'. It says the file cannot be found, or something like. Anybody have any suggestions for me? _________________ <3 Megan

What says "file cannot be found" ?
Open b2menutop.php in a text editor (not a browser window or anything like that). |

That is very weird. I installed this hack, and when I tried to use it under b2edit, it told me it was forbidden. Everything was done right and uploaded correctly, so for shits and giggles I decided to try changing the name to b2commenterplugger.php, taking out the . in the middle. I changed what needed to be changed accordingly, and now it works. Is my server picky or what? |

Hi Monkey, what I noticed about the other problem you had is that you're host is using PHP version 4.2.2 (or 4.2.3 I can't remember), while the newest version is 4.3.3; so that could be the reason why you're were having the troubles that you had. |

Oh... well everything's fixed now. With much frustration and fiddling with crap... everything except that smilies hack problem thing. But that's no big deal. Doesn't effect the way my page loads or any of that so I'm not going to even bother with it. |

I installed it all, and it all went well, but when I opened up the pop-up, it wouldn't work. I typed in "13" for the entry (which did exist), put a comma in the seperator field, and checked the "alphabetize authors" blank. But what came out was this:
Code: | <br />
<b>Warning</b>: ksort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in <b>/home/dnet/public_html/midori/b2/b2commenter.plugger.php</b> on line <b>79</b><br />
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: array_keys(): The first argument should be an array in <b>/home/dnet/public_html/midori/b2/b2commenter.plugger.php</b> on line <b>80</b><br />
|
When I don't check the alphabetize box, nothing happens at all (even when there were commentors)
Please help... I'm so knew with b2. .__."
I might have installed something incorrectly before. This may have something to do with my MySql database. At the top of the page, it always says: Code: | SELECT * FROM midorib2posts WHERE 1=1 ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0,10 | When you view my blog, you can't see most of it because I div positioned the image. But here's the url of the blog: http://midori.doiz.net. The url to the b2commentor.plugger.php is http://midori.doiz.net/b2/b2commenter.plugger.php
Thanks a lot _________________ Whee. |

I don't get it....I'm stupid I guess. I did the stuff, but it didn't plug people. Is there some code I'm supposed to put after the blog to make it plug? |

Kristy: When you log into your b2, do you see where it says "Commenter Plugger"? It's beside "Post/Edit" on the blue bar. Just click on the Commenter Plugger and a pop up will come up where you can modify the plugs and stuff, and then you can just copy and paste the links into your blog entry |

is it possible to use this with wordpress? I got through all the editing until it said
Quote: | open:
b2-include/b2menutop.php
Find:
<a href="b2edit.php" class="menutop" style="font-weight: bold;">Post / Edit</a><?php echo $sep ?>
Add after that:
<a href="javascript:commenter()" class="menutop">Commenter Plugger</a><?php echo $sep ?> |
I have the b2menutop.php file, but i can't find where to add in that code. The file is Code: | <h1 id="wphead"><a href="http://wordpress.org"
rel="external"><span>WordPress</span></a></h1>
<ul id="adminmenu">
<?php
$menu =
file("./b2menutop.txt");
$continue = true;
foreach ($menu as $item) {
$class = '';
$item = trim($item);
if ('***' == $item) $continue = false;
if ($continue) {
$item = explode("\t", $item);
// 0 = user level, 1 = file, 2 = name
if (substr($PHP_SELF, -6) == substr($item[1], -6)) $class = ' id="current"';
if ($user_level >= $item[0]) echo "\n\t<li><a href='{$item[1]}'$class>{$item[2]}
</a></li>";
}
}
?>
<li><a href="javascript:profile(<?php echo $user_ID ?>)">My
Profile</a></li>
<li><a href="<?php echo "$siteurl/$blogfilename"; ?>">View
site</a></li>
<li id="last"><a href="<?php echo $siteurl ?>/b2login.php?
action=logout">Logout (<?php echo stripslashes($user_nickname) ?>)</a></li>
</ul>
<br
clear="all" />
<h2 id="top"><?php echo $title; ?></h2> |
