Doing a search didn't bring up what I was looking for so I'll ask before I actually code a solution of my own. I need something that can deal with blog spamming. Has anyone created a hack for it yet?

If not, this is the tack I'm thinking about taking. What I noticed is that people seem to only hit my older posts. A new post will never get spammed. It seems that the post has to have sat around for at least a month. That said, I"m simply thinking about limiting the time frame within which someone can post on a topic. Once a post is older than say a month, there will be no more ability to post a comment. One could allways adjust this as well by a setting in the configuration file. Maybe even put something in the admin section to allow setting this as opposed to actually editing the file. The non-coding users of b2 may appreciate this.

Any ideas?

B2evolution already has this feature built in.

You enter key words you want blocked into a config file.
