i know there's a code to prevent over flow of comments from a single person, but even after 30 seconds, i can't comment!!! how do i fix that??

I'm getting the same problem. The last time I commented was like 5 hours ago and I still can't comment even now. I get the message saying: You can only post comments every 30 seconds.

This sort of worked for me, but it does make the journal succeptible to flooding. I guess change, it's better to just wait. But what I did is...
edited>>> b2comments.post.php, looked for the line if (($time_newcomment - $time_lastcomment) < 60) , changed the < 60 to > 1. Dunno if this is a smart thing to do. I tested it and it worked fine. But it's probably not a good idea to keep it that low. I know I changed mine back to the original number after I finished replying. |
