Hello all!

I am a novice user who would like to see my b2 blog appear on the portal page of a phpBBFM forum installation. I know there is a hack out there that will show the latest few posts from the actual forum in kind of a blog format, but I like the functionality and flexibility of the b2 blog FAR more.

I initially tried just inserting the code from the Template Help section into the portal page where I wanted the blog to appear, but had no luck. The page refused to show anything at all whilst the b2 code was present.

Does anyone know an easy way to do this or am I facing one of those dreaded "learning experiences" wherein I have to figure it out on my own?

Any help would greatly appreciated.

You can currently view my work-in-progress portal page here. My thoughts at this point would be to somehow edit one of the existing mods the code DOES recognize. However given that two different db's are being queried, what should I expect?
