I don't know how...but somehow my template won't allow me write it. It says

(you cannot update that file/template: must make it writable, e.g. CHMOD 766)

but when I CHMODed the b2template.php nothing changed...should I just change the ability of the button or something?

You're supposed to CHMOD b2comments.php and/or b2commentspopup.php, not b2template.

I've already done that...nothing has changed.

hmmm...I thought I put this in the template help category...hmmm

If you're trying to edit your main blog template, index.php (or blog.php, or b2.php, or whatever page you use for your blog) needs to be chmodded to 766.
