|

Hi all
Yes i am using IE6 but not being able to log in to new installations
of CMS software such as phpnuke and others including my first ever
install of B2 tonight is nothing new to me. I have usually been able to solve the prob by
Renaming the index.php to something else like index.php1
which negates it and then:
Creating a new file named index.php
This has worked for me across all computers and browsers.
and it did tonight also.
I don't know why and i hope it helps.
Happy New Year

In regards to this post of mine I forgot to say that you should check to
see if your login page is requesting or setting a cookie. I usually set my
browser to :
Prompt me when a sight requests to leave a cookie.
Because usually when the no login thing happens.
The software is not trying to set a cookie.
What this has to do with the INDEX.PHP file
i do not know.
Technonut.
