is it possible to make my old greymatter archives and put it into my b2 blog?

Greetings.

IIRC, Greymatter stores posts in text files (I haven't used it in about 2 years). b2 stores data in the MySQL database. You could transfer your text files into the MySQL database by hand. I don't recommend this unless you know SQL.

Luckily, b2 provided the gm-2-b2.php script. If you haven't already installed b2, you can see an example at http://isuma.org/gm-2-b2.php

It looks like this import tool is designed to import GM posts on the same server that b2 is loaded. So, keep that in mind. If you had GM running at your ISP and then install b2 in this same ISP, you should be OK to import.

Read the instructions on the gm-2-b2.php script. Smile
