Access denied for user: 'tolovean_rabe@localhost' to database 'tolovean_b2'
i have tried several different things, but it just keeps giving me this message. i would really appreciate help, thanks. |

It means what it says, "access denied". Means the user name or password is incorrect.

i had tried to fix it that way before, but it didn't work
i tried something else and now i get this:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'tolovean_rabe@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/tolovean/public_html/b2/b2install.php on line 17
Can't connect to the database
Access denied for user: 'tolovean_rabe@localhost' (Using password: YES)
i looked at line 17 and didn't see a problem.....*is confused* |

Did you give your username access to the database? You have to manually select your username and your DB and grant access.
