According to a Moveable Type TrackBack tutorial, if I want to refer to some other blog post, I can 'send a trackback'.

Moveable Type apparently has a way to do this in the software. I cannot seem to find a way to do this in b2 -- i.e., 'send a trackback'. So, if I trackback to another blog (using their posted trackback URL), how would they know?

Similarly, how would I know if someone is tracking back to one of my blog entries -- i.e., how would my trackback number increment from (0) to (1) or whatever for that tracked back entry.

I checked the b2 readme.html - not too much info. I'm guessing b2 simply creates trackback URLs, but b2 does not have the features of moveable type to notify / receive notification of trackbacks.

Have I missed something?

You need to enable trackback and pingback in your b2config.php file.
