I'm new at the whole php thing. I've installed cgi before, but never php. When i tried to install this script the directions said nothing about uploading it in ascii mode, or chmod any of the files? Am i missing something here? Can someone help please? Thanks!

It's been a while since I installed my b2 but I don't think you have to worry about the ascii mode. If you had to, the instructions would probably say so. Just upload it in your default mode and see if it works.
It does talk about chmod-ing in the readme file. (Step #4)
You also have to chmod when you want to edit your templates from the b2 admin thing online.
