Hey

I'm very new to using php and b2... so explain this to me like I'm a 5 year old! lol

I keep getting this error... please help!

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'ODBC@localhost' (Using password: NO) in D:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\letdown\b2install.php on line 17

I did the same thing You have to allow your database user access to the database or make sure it's the correct name for the user. To add access to for the user to access the database, you have to be logged into your domain's control panel (or have your host do it if you're hosted) and grant access by either a drop down menu (that's how mine is) or you might have to go in and change the permissions. Yeah, I realized that, and fixed it, now everything is running smoothly. Smile

I thought it was going to be a nightmare to set this thing up, but it was actually pretty easy, once you figure everything out and be patient with it. Smile
