i keep getting this message when trying to use config.php

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/shb6_081/poguego.com/public_html/b2install.php on line 17
Can't connect to the database
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

it appears it's not finding the database and not a username/password issue which i've double checked are correct....

any suggestions?? i've searched countless posts already and haven't yet found an answer.

Ask your webhost what should be the dbhost. They should let you know what it is, for example mysql.yourwebhost.com
