I edited my template and now i get this error message

Smile i'm real proud of myself, I finally learned how to edit B2 and it worked and all but when i went to my blog i got this error message, it said:


Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_title() in /home/jerica/public_html/b2/index.php on line 13


^^ i have no idea what tat means, or at least i dont know what the problem is. Can someone help me?
