You change it in the b2config.php file. Be careful what you mess with in there though.

Or, if you have your index.php (or b2.php or whatever, we're talking about the blog-file itself, at least) chmod'ed 766, you can just write your own thing between
<title>My Blog</title>
in the <head></head> section, in your own b2-admin account (under template). Doing this makes it unnecessary to move into "dangerous grounds"..
I haven't changed my config from my first blog, named Life Between Stations, I've just edited in the index.php _________________ Sigg3 dot net - because you're worth it! |

Thanks for the suggestions, but they don't seem to be available to me. At Ipower, who hosts my site, it's not clear how to get into the b2 php files, probably so folks like me don't mess up webware which causes them more support questions. The php files seem to be behind some sort of Ipower firewall or protected directory where they can't be accessed by us bozos to mess up. IMHO, the blog title should be able to be set in the template and/or during the install process. Ditto for adding graphics and links at the blog page. _________________ Always

Oh there is ALWAYS just trouble and mess with those blogs that are installed by the host, install it on your own, this is a very important thing cause afterwards when you'll need to modify something you'll have no idea about where the problem could be solved.
And switch to pMachine. |
