hi, not sure if my question will be out of topic but...

i am wondering since there are so many blogs services and scripts out there, is it legal to create my own blog script, where it will copy entries in others services like LJ etc...

in other words, let's say a member of LJ have many entries. for some reasons, he want to switch to my blog service. my script is able to copied his entires in LJ and integrate into my blog service, so that his previous blogs are not lost after switching. is it legal for me to do so?
