installation:
New users:

1. Unzip the package in an empty directory.

Does that mean an empty directory in FTP on my site?

And also, do my pages have to be in .php format? Or can they be in .htm or .html format.

You are from Maine, I see...

Step one means open the zipped package.

The files must have the extensions they originally have, naturally.

You asked an original question. That's not stupid.
