I also use IPower Web as my host, and I faced a similar problem. What I did, so I didn't have to mess around with moving files/re-naming files that are linked to the b2 blog, was just make a redirect to mydomain/v-web/b2/index.php.
The option is located in the website administration (yourdomain.com/vdeck) under settings >> redirects. Once in the Redirects section, type "/index.html" in the first box, and "http://yourdomain.com/v-web/b2/index.php" and obviously replace "yourdomain.com" with your domain name.
You can see how I have mine set up by going to http://conservativeposts.us , and notice once you get to the site, the address in your browser's bar, will switch to "http://conservativeposts.us/v-web/b2/index.php"
It's virtually transparent to users, unless they're paying close attention to the address bar, so I don't have much of a problem with it. I know this probably isn't the only solution, but like I said, I really didn't want to mess around with it too much.
Hope this helps,
