I might be extremely stupid but i CANNOT find where to even download b2? I looked at the download link and it took me to a sourceforge place for downloading wordpess. Are b2 and wordpress seperate things? if so where is the b2 download page?

Wordpress has indeed replaced B2. B2 is no longer supported.
You should use Wordpress.
