Hi,

sorry, I am not very much into programming.

My weblog has been running fine since October 2003.
Now one or two spammers start attacking:
They send comments.
You can see it unter www.info-management.de
The E-Mail-address given at the comment does not belong to any of my members.
What happens and what can I do about it?
Which 'hack' is right to solve my problem?
As I installed the lasted edition of b2 in October, there ist no extra security update available, is there?

I changed the name of the file called b2comment.post.php or something like that to something entirely different. Of course you need to follow up by changing the references to it in these files: b2comments.php and b2commentspopup.php

Give the file a juicy name that spammers won't think of.

First it didn't seem to work, but then the number of spam comments have declined down to nothing. If all else fails you could change the posting parameters, but this requires a whole lot more work. See the discussion at: http://www.cafelog.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=5792
