Is it possible to display the total number of entries in a Blog (including archives) or would this require doing something clever with MySQL?

You can use b2ministats. It gives a simple output # posts and # comments. I use it at my homepage:)

Get it @ http://clowsecrets.com/b2ministats/b2ministats.zip

Note that it counts all posts by all users..

oh, I thought I had a mirror of it at http://www.sigg3.net/cafelog/files/ but it turned out that I didn't. Dunno. Maybe I have a copy of it somewhere. I'll look.
