Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to have b2 and another application share a database, or at least the user tables of the db.
I have phpBB running as my forum and I have a number of members that have registered for the forum. If I add b2 as a blog system on my site, is it possible to have registered users log in either through the phpBB or b2 log-in and be able to post to either place?
I would like to set up my install of b2 to require that people register to be able to post but of course I don't want anyone to have to log in to each area separately.
Thanks.

I think this is a feature I was looking for myself. At one of the user-based pages I'm running, I have b2, phpbb2 and coppermine gallery.
I didn't find a way to combine them, but if you feel up for it, b2 has been made for evolving.
Let me know if you reach a hack. _________________ Sigg3 dot net - because you're worth it! | b2 Cafelog Resource Center |

Have a look at how phpmychat is integrated into phpbb. The phpbb login is passed on to phpmychat and they share the same database Quote: | this mod takes the logon information and then posts that information over to the phpmychat for login info so that they don't have to re-login |
