I had b2 and was using it before and I deleted it. I downloaded it again and I reinstalled it (I guess I did it right). Then I tried to register it so I went to b2register.php, filled out the fields and I got this:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'user@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/yella/public_html/b2/b2register.php on line 84
OOPS: can't connect to the server !Access denied for user: 'user@localhost' (Using password: YES)

Then I saw somewhere where I'm supposed to run b2install.php. I did that and this came up:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'user@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/yella/public_html/b2/b2install.php on line 17
Can't connect to the database
Access denied for user: 'user@localhost' (Using password: YES)

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? If this was covered in another post, please link me to it:( Thanks!

Check if your mysql db settings are correct.
dbusername does not have to be the same as your regular username.
