I got hit HARD tonight and I did that hack that Sigg3 advised (just change my b2comments.post.php to a different name) and that slowed them down. I mean I think I only received 2 spam links since then. But tonight? They hit me HARd and I'm desperate to find the most efficient non-complicated way to stop this. Just looks at this printscreen I created. These are all the notifications I got for the comments and this is within one hour from over 10 different ips :

I tried to maintain the time and patience for that but I really don't. I'm weak at php and everytime I try to install a hack it fucks up for me (ie: threaded comments). I would ask my buddy to loging and just do it for me because even if he fucks up I got the backup for my b2 but his comp crashed. Sigh |

Still eager to spend your money, eh?
(I'm not doing it, sorry. Those two tutorials provided are pretty easy. If you have a differentiated situation because of threaded comments, look into the logics of it and open your eyes. It's logical. The need of the many outweighs the need of the one..... ok, sorry. Couldn't help it.)

Maybe I need to go to bed and try to work with it tomorrow. Truth is I've been working on a lot of site related things ALL DAY and I'm pretty frustrated by now. PHP get the best of me like that.

I updated the blacklist hack just before midnight (GMT +1) last night with the latest version. If you don't have it, it doesn't harm you, because I have the same thing, but the latest has a search feature as well!
People:
The b2anti-spam.zip will not be updated any further, as everything works.
If you need later versions, check out the sources.
