Recently I've been getting tons of entries in my comments from Online Poker, advertisements and such. Is there anyway to block them?
(I had over 20 per entry, and I manually deleted all of them. Now I'm accumilating those ads again and I want to know if there's anyway to block them.) |

i'm having the same problem. i'm still looking for a way to block them, but i can suggest an easy way to delete them in bulk.
go to your phpMyAdmin or something similar (where your mySQL database info is stored) and select your database. then go to "b2comments" and click "browse." (mine shows a little picture of a notepad or something.)
now you can go thru and check all the comments you don't want and delete them all at once. (sometimes it's easier to select everything, when uncheck all the ones you want to keep. in case you're too overwhelmed with this spam.) |
