The blog at http://www.HisWorld.Net is getting spammed REALLY bad. Does anybody know how i can prevent this from happening??? Thanks!  |

Me too. 
There are several threads on the "Hacks" forum that offer help but I'm not geek enough to do most of them so I just continue to suffer. |

the one that blocks the keywords is most effective imo. blocking IPs is useless since they mask their ip. i've installed the hacks and i've cut down the spam probably about 90%.

could that be the problem?
if someone cannot comment, then they cannot spam.
1. hack the code to remove such a foolish idea.
2. hack the code to add in account logins, for people who want to comment. just like this phpbb it will cut down spam to human form. And then you can use useful things like ip banning.
ip banning a bot is not going to do you any good.
3. go to walmart. buy a notepad. buy a pen. start blogging!
4. .........
... o bother, I should write a real application that is like sticky notes and be done with such foolishness...
too bad so many people arent tech savvy... what a waste of human man hours...
