When someone tries to post a comment, they get this message:

There is an error with the database, it can't store your comment...
Contact the webmaster

What does this mean and how would I go about fixing it?

Contact your host.
If you host yourself, check your db for errors.

it's my own domain. i ran a check on the database and it said everything was fine, but i ran a repair anyways. i'm still getting the message.

unless i get a reply soon, i'm gonna reinstall b2 and just put all my old entries in the archives.

Wouldn't think that message would appear if there wasn't anything wrong with the db or your b2 files relevant to directing b2 to the db.

Have you doublechecked the b2config file?
