I have created a mod that lets you create new news fields and then show them in your template.
just download this file and follow the instructions in the readme file.
Enjoy!
and please let me know what you think. |

it may be easy for you and me, but for some people - this is a problem.
thats why i'v created an interface that lets you add new fields...
nice and simple, now php\sql coding needed... just extract the files( + a litlle db update) and you can add new fields by filling out a simple form.
when you want to post / edit a news, the new fields automataclly show. |

I don't mean to be a huge pain in the ass, but I cannot get this file extracted, and I'd love to use it... I guess you don't have a .zip format anywhere, huh? _________________ 10-27-04: Mommy to Alyssa!

I tried it but it wouldn't display my field in my blog... when I went to look at the database, all the values for the "MOOD" column were "NULL"... any clues on what went wrong? =) _________________ raar! |

When I added a new field, and went to the "post/edit" nothing showed up. Any idea on how to fix this? ^_^ _________________ Sapphire-Roses.net |

The fields show up perfectly fine, but everytime I try to post, it says "error in posting, contact the webmaster." and on the index page, i get the following error:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /....../public_html/weblog/b2-include/b2functions.php on line 12 |

O_o
I'm greatful that you made dis hack, as I'm such a php n00b I couldn't possibly have figured it out ;D
One thing. I try to open the rar file and it says unknown method. What did you use to pack it? It isn't opening in winrar. O_o _________________ -t-H-3-b-|-u-3-0-n-3- |
