...then you're just begging for buggy behaviour, since both are unstable as it is.
PHP's Apache 2 module is currently terrible, and PHP 4.3.0-dev s, well, a development version which so happens to have bugs in the snpashot that was released.

We won't take bugs in account if your server is running either Apache 2, PHP 4.3.0-dev, or both. If your webhost fancied upgrading like that, tell them they suck (or that they are "not professional", since to them it'll translate as "damn we suck").

I upgraded on Win2k. I suspect I'll be downgrading again shortly.

I'm not upgrading my linux machines unless forced to.

Any specific issues you found on the win2k install? Or just an overall feeling of dread?

I'm still seeing the ob_gzhandler bug. Don't know if its a b2 problem or not - i'll play with it a bit before I decide what to do.

Well, from a server admin point of view, there's no way that I'd be touching PHP 4.3.0 in the 'release' form, considering the horrid number of problems it has been known to create in the development form. Perhaps 4.3.1, but, I'm still not sure about that.

Tank,
If you are talking about your main site? If so, I can get to you b2login.php page OK.

Obviously, I haven't tried logging in but is it that you cannot get to the page at all or only have a problem when you try to login?

Also Internet Exploder tends to say "Page cannot be displayed" for all errors. But on the page displayed near the bottom should be the real error, 404 page not found, or DNS error, etc. Which one are you getting?

Another tip is to look at the properties for the page (right click -> properties) you will see something like
"res://C:\WINNT\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://google.zz/"
where you can see that this example is a DNS error.

Mike
