I've looked and its been about 2 months since anything related to b2 has been updated. cafelog.com, tidakada.com and even the files in cvs haven't been touched for a couple months. I'm just wondering if this needs to be picked up and pursued by a group other than michel?? _________________ :: timeuser :: |

I'm kind of saddened by the lack of communication here on b2 and its development. I don't really like using software that is no longer supported or actively being developed. I wish that someone in the know would have posted something in the previous topic about this same issue. Even if it were just a "sorry that I haven't had time to post but I promise I will shortly". Any bone would have been nice.
b2 is a great tool and has some things I really like about it. Unfortunately, I couldn't stand the silence anymore and switch to MovableType a few weeks ago.
Best of luck to b2 and its future (whatever that entails). Who knows? If 1.0 ever comes out, maybe I'll be back for more. |

Macshack is doing a great job to get rid of bugs while michel v is away.
I´ve heard rumours that michael v´s pc is broken and he is looking for a job, so I think he hasn´t been able to log on lately.
for those who don´t know how to code it must be boring, waiting for the next version, but if you with a little bit of knowledge using php makes it fun to play around along with some hacks and stuff
I think michel v gives a tremendous ammount of freedom as we can visualize, hack, discuss , chage , do whatever so, etc.. with his code, so no bad comments on how it´s being handled. If this was macromedia you guys wouldn´t have a chance to be heard... , but I think he is done with this.....
- Peace Out

Are you saying that there will not be any further development of b2 in the future at all? Please say it isn't so! |

Hi,
Thank you for the complementary comment.
I do not believe in any way that b2 is dead! The goals that Michel has for B2 is not trivial and he was/is deeply involved in the design and prototyping and coding of what is to be 1.0. Do I know how far along he is or what the schedule is, no I don't. Lets all take a deep breath and relax. _________________ Kind Regards,

I agree that its sad that Michel hasn't been on for so long to update the b2 but I respect that.. hey .. some people even got a real life. I don't manage it either to update my webpage as regularly as I wish I could. so yah |

I would like to help with developing b2 in my spare time... sounds fun. I have some experience with HTML/CSS, PHP, MySQL. _________________ my blog |
