I view my b2rss.xml and it is from April. How does it update, and how can I fix its rate to be in synch when I post?

Thanks as always.

What do you mean, you "use" the b2rss.php? How do you use it?

b2rss.php (and b2rss2.php or b2rdf.php) are php scripts that build an RSS feed automatically when called like you index.php build an html page when called. php is processed by the server to create a desired format. In the case of b2rss.php it builds RSS XML instead of what we normally see (HTML).

Is that what you're looking for?

It should be automatic, but I deleted all these posts, and posted new ones, and the b2rss.xml page shows the last build as being April. How do I get it to renew? When I view the xml page, it shows the old posts there and none of the new ones.

It is automatic if you use the *.php files as they run the query of the database on request of the file, but I don't know how the *.xml file worked as I've never used it and found the php files to be more effective. You really shouldn't need an xml extension in any case.

Anyone have a clue as to what files I should check on ? What causes the xml file to be created, and do those files need any special chmod?
