Parse error: parse error in /_______/____/___/htdocs/blog/b2config.php on line 61
Can't connect to the database
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
I checked and line 61 is variable $dbhost. I put in my mysql host and it still doesn't work. I just had my hosting provider, 1and1.com, create me a database and then I did a 'mysql -u username -h hosthere.com -p' and everything connected just fine. So, I am a bit confused why it won't connect to the host with the script, but at the command line in an shell it works just fine.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing...what's the way to solve it?
because I'm also using 1and1 and I did put in the right dbhost name and user and password...
what's the other method? |
