This is the second year for my site. I sponsor graphic artists and writers by displaying and promoting their work. The galleries are of 30 day durations in a slideshow format. I try and refresh them often because I view the slideshows as a form of entertainment. I am looking for ways to add music.

As far as writers I plan on searching the thousands of sites out there looking for writers to post and promote. If one in a thousand happens to go on to being successfully published then my site will be successful.

Great idea, great concept, but lacking design. Why do I always have to stress this?

I'm not sure wether there's something wrong with your CSS or maybe you've just made it for another browser than my IE, but I'd strongly suggest you to have a look at it. I mean, from what I'm seeing, it looks as though you're using un-changed <h4></h4> tags for example...

Listen, I'm not trying to be an ass, I AM an ass, but I cannot stress the image viewers and users of your site must have after visiting it; unserious. In order to be serious, on this web of ours, design is utterly important. I've had and experimented with alot of radical designs, and I clearly have my principles, but when I settled with the one I have today (http://www.sigg3.net) my number of readers exploded. Now I actually HAVE steady readers who drop by to read the latest "case" or office-story or participate in my contests or weekly polls. Nothing of this is new, only tweaked to appear new. My design is pretty simple, but; black text on white background still seems as the most reasonable solution, if you want to appear "professional."

I'm not going to go on about this, you seem like an intelligent person, and I'm sure you'll give this a thought after having read my worrying post. Hopefully, maybe, you'll even decide to change it. I'm waiting with great expectations:)
