CHMOD, my dear, is setting permissions on your files. It has to do with being readable/writeable/executeable by the server/admin/user.

They come in numbers of three, like CHMOD 777 for instance, which gives ALL PERMISSIONS (oh, sweet danger).

or do a google on CHMOD

How do I set permissions?
Use your regular FTP tool to do this. I use WS_Ftp which allows me to just right-click and set permissions to files/folders.
