Is there a way I can set my comments up to keep this from happening? I'm pretty new at this so I'm not sure how. I spent the better part of my morning deleteing at least a couple hundred comments that were spam. What pisses me off is that I have a photoblog, and the piece of trash who spammed me put his crap in the comments of my babies' pictures.
Really though, I have better things to do than dig through all of my comments and delete garbage daily. Is there a way to stop this? Please help! _________________ KeithandBeth.com - a family photoblog |

What I did was changing the name of b2comments.post.php to something entirely different. Instead of getting 50+ overnight, I now seldom get any.
You'll need to change the links to this file to the new name you've given it in these two files: b2comments.php and b2commentspopup.php
Still it seems that the spambots keep hitting the same posts (or postcomments), just about 3 a day. But I can live with 3 a day. _________________ Sigg3 dot net - because you're worth it! | b2 Cafelog Resource Center |
