WordPress version 1.0.2 is now available for download. This is a bugfix release and fixes all known issues with the 1.0 series.
The upcoming version of WordPress (available in nightly builds) has sub-categories, advanced comment moderation, automatic image thumbnailing, and custom fields. All implemented with the elegance you've come to expect from WordPress. I'll post more about 1.2 when it's finished.

this is very interesting, and those who want to get a blog feature up and running wil want to know more. i certainly do. your website is too complicated. can we please have a website that tells us in step-by-step fashion just how to insert a blog into a home page and what needs to be put on the server? if it's so easy for you guys that you can make all these whiz-bang screens and stuff, surely you can make it easy to implement...?

I would say that wordpress is way better then b2. Wordpress has more options and is as easy to use as b2.

one of the problems in the past with some of the dynamic software was that it was hard to get it indexed by search engines, but I looked through a few pages of the cache here and it seemed to all be in there. pretty cool stuff...

I don't think B2 is supported by the author anymore, hence the lack of updates + pushing people to WordPress. B2Evolution is a fork in the development of B2 to continue to improve on B2 - check http://b2evolution.net/
