b2? guestbook?  -  @ 02:21:12 306
I read Michel's previous post and I got to Ana's site. Although I don't understand their language but I managed to reach her guestbook. To my suprise, it says there, [powered by b2]. A b2 guestbook? Gotta check this out.

The guestbook is not b2 powered, I wish it was.. it's giving me a headache!!
But that's a great idea!! I'll just create a gbook category, make an inicial "leave your message" post, tweak the database call on the gbook/index.php page to display only "gbook" category =) what a nice twist =)
I've only one question, a month later, when archiving reaches that inicial post, will it go "away"?

brb, testing =)

The b2's powered guestbook it's up and runnig =) just follow the instructions on my last post and the last step is to go to your root's index.php page (where ALL the categories are displayed) and change the b2's "motor" line to:

where 3 is the category ID of the gbook and you must add the order by post_date desc or else the order will be ascending.
This code is to NOT display the guestbook post(s) on the front page.

nice collaborative work guys =)

sorry, the comments page just strips all html but some tags. allowed are italic, underline, bold, link, and i think that's all. i got to make it go into the options page.
